VMDO Architects sent me down to rural Buckingham County, VA earlier this week to photograph a project of theirs. VMDO designed the renovation and addition onto Buckingham’s Elementary School complex, and asked for documentation of the builders and building of the school. It’s an enormous project for Buckingham, and shaping up to be a state of the art, extremely environmentally-friendly building.
Simply put: Old school, meet new.
